Couple things.. Try to use a faster frame rate.. I'm guessing you are using 12 fps, The Drawings were good, and I know its alot of work to make a good looking drawing.. especially in flash and double especially if your using a mouse. If you havent already, get a wacom tablet.. will help lots. Also dont be afraid to draw a second picture to make the animation look better, trying to recycle the same symbol just comes off as very stiff and static.. Also, take your time.. Quality counts.. quantity.. well not so much But again.. this is a pretty good try for your first toon.. I hope to see more and here's to you getting much better in the future. I hope this helped. BTW Music was awesome ;)

I like the use of sparks in your style, very original, I would suggest using some sound effects for the different moves and specials.. it makes a hell of a lot of difference. Give it a try see what happens.

You have a great cartoon.. but your sounds arent that great.. Try to record your own.. or make your own sounds using sound forge.. you'll be amazed what you can come up with..There are libraries with Movie quality sound out there that will help this so much more..
Again Sound makes a big difference..
Other than that Great cartoon.. I like the animation style
